About us

We love exploring saunas all around Estonia and the world. This is what inspired the creation of Rangi saun and enabled us to learn from other saunamasters. So we are always happy to recommend other saunas to visit, particularly as we are not able to host everyone who contacts us at Rangi saun. In addition, some of our guests experience their first ever 'real' sauna with us and then want to experience even more afterwards!

We've put together a short list below of other Estonian saunas to visit and can answer more questions if you have them.

Please also follow Estonian Saunas on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. We use these accounts to share photos and information about saunas around Estonia, as well as sauna culture around the world.

OUR WORK

Some of our favourite Estonian saunas:

Mooska farm

Mooska farm

Mooska farm in Võrumaa is home to one of Estonia's most iconic smoke saunas. It's run by Eda and Urmas who are expert saunamasters and have been very kind helping us learn about smoke sauna traditions.

ÖÖD Riverside Residence

ÖÖD Riverside Residence

You can book overnight accommodation at this beautifully designed showhome for Estonian startup, ÖÖD, and enjoy this great sauna next to the river.

VALA

VALA

This floating forest sauna is in Soomaa national park near Pärnu. It's free for anyone to use, but you'll need to follow our guide in order to find it!

Kalma saun

Kalma saun

This is the oldest public sauna in Tallinn that is still open. You can book a private room for a group or join the public sessions (which are gender segregated).

Hiiglaste saun

Veematkad Raft House

Veematkad Raft House

This sauna is not easy to reach! It's floating on a hidden river bend near Lake Peipsi and requires a 30 minute speedboat (or longer by skis in winter!)

Toidupada

Toidupada

This smoke sauna is located near Otepää and great for groups of friends.
